Assignment: Applied Research
Where do you see applied research in the broader spectrum of traditional, academic social science research? Identify and discuss at least three examples where applied research has impacted your workplace or your community. For each example, address the following:
· Describe the general details of each of the three examples.
· Explain the ethical considerations that would need to be addressed were you to conduct a similar study for each of the three examples.
· Identify a research hypothesis that was likely addressed for each of the three examples, providing the primary independent and dependent variables for each.
