Homework: Self Management Paper
This cumulative Homework allows you to consider everything you have learned over the past 5 weeks and attempt to change a behavior of your own. This overall process is similar to what a board-certified behavior analyst would complete with a new client.
Refer to the approved behavior you would like to change based on your submission to your instructor in Week 2.
Track baseline data over a 3 days period using the Baseline Data Worksheet.
Write a 1,400 to 1,750 words paper that outlines an intervention plan for changing that behavior, and ensure you:
1) Describe the target behavior.
2) Outline the dimensions of measurement/baseline measurement.
3) Describe the function of the baseline behavior.
4) Outline the goals of the behavioral change.
5) Propose a behavior intervention plan based on goals.
6) Provide a minimum of 2 antecedent changes.
7) Provide 4 to 5 consequence modifications.
8) Choose consequences based on at least 4 of the following:
9) Positive reinforcement
10) Negative reinforcement
11) Negative punishment
12) Positive punishment
13) Extinction
14) Describe any potential barriers to treatment as well as how you would overcome these barriers.
15) Describe the expected outcome if the behavior intervention plan was implemented and followed.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
