Locate a guest speaker or panel that you find interesting at least 30 minutes in length from Full Sail's YouTube site (suggested links are available below). You are welcome to review any of the other Full Sail playlists for events and/or panels you feel are interesting.
First Post
Describe the event you intend on watching and provide the website link. Include the key speakers of the event/panel in your description.
Explain in at least one paragraph how the event/panel relates to your personal or career goals.
Second Post
Replying to your original post,
Did the event meet your expectations? Provide at least one paragraph explaining why it did or did not meet your expectations.
Expand on at least one takeaway you discovered from the event/panel.
Was data and/or statistics provided during the event/panel?
If so, how did it help solidify the authority of the speaker(s)?
If not, what type of data would have given the presentation more credibility?
Data can be used in all presentations, even if it is a personal interview. Brainstorm on items you think would have enhanced the discussion.
Examples of data might include demographics, number of cities visited, revenues and/or expenses related to travel, number of followers on social media.
We would like you to be creative in your data suggestions (not necessarily using these) but also wanted to provide a helpful guide to get you brainstorming even if you chose an interview focusing on personal triumphs or experiences of one individual.
It is recommended that you use the numbering format above when creating your reply post to ensure each topic is clearly designated in your follow-up reflection.
