Describe the environmental social and economic impacts

Problem

Although tourism has the potential to earn foreign exchange, it carries a great risk of causing environmental and social harm. There is also a real concern noted in literature of a high leakage of revenue from the economy, and the exclusion of local businesses, particularly micro and small enterprises from participating in the tourism driven economy.

Describe the environmental, social, and economic impacts (both positive and negative), that are associated with the intensive tourism development strategies that are often pursued by Caribbean government.
