These will be very useful in future chapters, as the theories help us understand various phenomenon such as territoriality, the effects of crowding, urban problems, the impact of extreme temperatures, and many other things. However, in chapter 4 it will be more difficult because we are learning theories in the abstract (and it is our first exposure to the theories - everything gets easier with repetition in the subsequent chapters). For this assignment, consider four of the "Perspectives" covered in Chapter 4: -The Arousal Perspective -The Environmental Load Perspective -The Behavior Constraint Perspective -The Environmental Stress Perspective Your task will be to first come up with a particular example of how the environment challenges or negatively impacts a person. Then you should explain the environment's impact using one of the perspectives above. The third part of the assignment will be to explain how another (different) perspective does NOT do a good job of accounting for your example.
