Using the Baretto & Segura book, describe the diversity of the Chicano/Latino population and its implications for the potential political participation in the American democratic system. Use your own U.S. Congressional District data to comment on to what extent Barreto and Segura's findings are relevant to your district. Alternatively, you can comment on California's 2018 gubernatorial campaign or the last or your last State Assembly or State Senate election.
