(2) Describe the differences and similarities between the history of Brazil and the United States. Include the slave trade, the legacy of slavery and the treatment of the countries' indigenous people.
(3) As Americans we tend to see our country as the "melting pot," explain the diversity of other countries such as Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, and Canada.
