Essay Problem: Business Management
The problems will ask about topics covered in Unit 2, which corresponds to Ch. 9,10, 12-14, 16.
You will write two in-depth answers for the case provided at home, on your own, over the course of a week. Answers should be between 350-500 words for each answer.
The following document includes the corresponding article and questions.
A) After reading the case, consider the three aspects of effective teams: context, composition, and process. How do the teams at Netflix perform in each of these categories? Do you think that the teams at Netflix are optimally successful? Why or why not? What one recommendations would you make to either maintain their success or improve the team?
B) Identify a conflict that you see in the case. Describe the conflict using the conflict stages we discussed in class. Where is the conflict in the process we discussed in class? What styles are the individuals involved in it using to manage the conflict? Finally, what is one recommendation you would make as the company moves forward to manage or prevent these types of conflict in the future?
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
