Problem:
Confidentiality, privacy, and anonymity are central to the ethical design of this project. While absolute anonymity may be challenging in a small school environment, the researcher will protect participants by using pseudonyms or coded identifiers in transcripts, notes, and reports, and by removing identifiable details whenever possible. Interview, and implementation record data will be securely stored on password-protected, encrypted systems, and physical documents will be kept in locked storage accessible only to the researcher. Although risks are minimal, they may include discomfort discussing professional practices, concerns about judgment, or fears that colleagues or administrators might infer individual responses. These risks will be minimized by maintaining a non-evaluative approach, collecting data privately, clearly distinguishing participation from job performance, and reporting findings in aggregate whenever possible. These measures align with qualitative research standards that emphasize participant protection, privacy, and careful management of identifiable information (Merriam & Tisdell, 2016; Stringer, 2014). Informed consent is treated as an ongoing process rather than a one-time signed form at the start of the study. Before participating, each participant will receive a clear explanation of the study's purpose, procedures, estimated time commitment, possible risks and benefits, confidentiality measures, and the voluntary nature of participation.
