For the following instructions I have chosen to describe the cinematic analysis of the scene when Dorothy first land in munchkin land.
Choose one pivotal scene in a film to analyze (Dorothy first landing in munchkin land and seeing a technicolor world).
Name of the chosen film, its director, and the year it was made, use the introductory paragraph to describe the scene.
The bulk of the writing must be dedicated to analysis, NOT SIMPLY RECOUNTING THE SCENE. A summary of the scene is not an analysis. - talk about WHY the scene is successful or unsuccessful and HOW tools are being used by the filmmakers to make it so. land by "tools" I mean things like cinematography or editing or sound, for example).
