Plant Adaptations Discussion 3 Plants face different environmental challenges in different biomes. Adaptations that may be advantageous in one biome may be of little or no use in another, and can sometimes even be detrimental to the organism's survival. For this discussion, choose a biome (desert, tundra, deciduous forest, taiga, grassland, etct). Describe the challenges that plants face in that biome, and describe two adaptations (modifications of roots, stems, leaves, etc.) found in plants that are successful in that biome. Do not simply list the adaptations; you must describe how the adaptation ensures an advantage over competing species.
