1) Revisit the former question about inexperienced versus experienced employees. At this point if anything, would you change about your answer and why?
2) What is the major reason behind leadership development for managers in organizations? Are there any problems you see with this reason and/or model?
3) What do you believe are the most reliable predictors for employees to succeed at the management level?
4) Describe the best organizational culture you have worked in. What was the thing you liked the least about the culture?
5) Describe the worst organizational culture you have worked in. What was the thing you liked the best about the culture?
6) Do you advocate strong legal protections against dismissal, or do you believe both public- and private-sector industries should be able to fire people at will? Consider the arguments for both sides in your answer.
7) If you had to fire someone, how would you end the conversation and what would you do immediately afterwards? What kind of effect do you feel the conversation would have on you personally? If you have ever had to fire someone, how did that experience affect you?
