List potential negative effects of this curriculum and how it is developmentally inappropriate to literacy development. Suggest an alternative approach to developing literacy skills. Use the Kindergarten standards for reading from your state in your response and discuss the guidelines for developmentally appropriate practice described in the course text as well as NAEYC resources.
