3. Match the following available anticoagulants with their reported or proposed mechanism of action.
*Coumadin A. Facilitate conversion of plasminogen to plasmin that hydrolyzes fibrin to dissolve blood clots, or thrombi,that have already formed.
*Activase B. Irreversibly inhibit platelet activation, leading to inhibition of platelet aggregation.
* Heparin C. Increases length of clotting time and prevents thrombi from forming or growing larger. The activity dependson inhibition of thrombi and clot formation by blocking conversion of prothrombin to thrombin andfibrinogen to fibrin, which is final step in clotting process.
