You will learn the particulars of each theory more easily if you can explain the information in your own words. Layout Instructions:
Students are welcome to utilize the attached template for this assignment (see below). The first theory listed (Psychoanalytic) is completed for you, to provide you with an example. Please leave it as the first theory on the document- it counts towards your grade (2 points for free!). If you remove it, you will lose 2 points (see the rubric). The table is permitted to be in Times New Roman font, size 10 (rather than the traditional size 12 required for APA). The references section should still follow traditional APA guidelines (i.e., size 12 font). Avoid using bullet points, as this causes information to automatically indent into your column space. The template provided follows these instructions. If you would rather design your own table, you may use Microsoft Word or Excel to create your project. If Microsoft Word is used, please export the file as a .pdf and upload the .pdf file for the assignment. Suggestions for designing this project would be to create a table for each theory/approach in Word and use page breaks between each theory/approach. Choose the landscape option in Page layout, change the margins to 0.5, and insert a table. The table is permitted to be in Times New Roman font, size 10 (Rather than the traditional size 12 required for APA). The references section should still follow traditional APA guidelines (i.e., size 12 font). Another space-saving suggestion is to highlight your cells, choose the Layout tab, select Cell Margins, and set the default cell margins to 0". Doing so allows you to maximize the use of space within the cells.
