Problem
In our section on Cognitive Development, we first discussed Piaget's theory of cognitive development, and then we discussed several other theories about to cognitive development. Pick one of these other theories (Vygotsky and friends, over-lapping waves, dynamic systems, etc.), and discuss what that theory helped to explain beyond what Piaget's theory talks about-what new perspective or information did the theory you picked add to our understanding of cognitive development? (Example: Vygotsky emphasized social contributions to cognitive development.)
a. Name the theory and describe it briefly
b. Describe the perspective/information on cognitive development it adds (relative to Piaget)
c. Give a short example to illustrate
