A. Postmodernism can refer to the eclectic mixing of elements from different times and places, bringing together elements from different cultures, and mixing beliefs and practices. Describe one specific example of a cultural object or practice that incorporates the previous elements and explain how it can be considered postmodern.
B. What are the Slut Walks? In your opinion, is participating in the Slut Walks an effective form of feminist activism? Why or why not? Name one particular third wave strategy that is used by those who participate in the Slut Walks.
C. Name one current example that demonstrates multiculturalism exists and is functioning well in our society. Name one current example not mentioned in lecture that demonstrates multiculturalism is a failure in our society. What do you think can be done to improve the way multiculturalism is put into practice in our society? How can this be implemented? By whom?
