Describe one skill building activity you could use

Problem

Jasmine is 8 years old and has difficulty engaging with others. If she finds someone to play with they often end up fighting because Jasmine must always be first and everyone must always play the game Jasmine wants. You are implementing therapeutic programs for Jasmine to focusing on her goal areas.

Based on the goal you have developed for Jasmine:

1. Describe one skill building activity you could use to measure that goal.
2. Describe how you would measure the goal using this activity (what would you see and/or hear to measure the goal during your activity?)

The goal for Jasmine

The goal of helping Jasmine learn to successfully play a cooperative game with another person for at least 20 minutes four times per week is an important and immediate goal because it is a priority for her and is relevant to her needs. In addition, Jasmine is having difficulty connecting with others, and this goal will help her to learn how to engage in a meaningful way.

SMART goals are essential to have in place because they help to ensure that goals are realistic, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. By creating a SMART goal for Jasmine, we can ensure that her goal is specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound.
