Discussion Post: Business Communication
In an ideal world, teams would always function at peak performance level. Unfortunately, in the real world, many teams simply do not function effectively.
For this discussion activity read the article "The Team That Wasn't" by Suzy Wetlaufer and then respond to the following:
a) Describe at least one problem or obstacle to achieving effective communications that Fire Art faces.
b) Identify both positive and negative team roles displayed by team members in this case. Provide examples to illustrate or support your reasoning.
c) Share at least one recommendation for Eric Holt to help him improve his team's effectiveness. Support your recommendation(s) with materials from the course.
