Discussion: Leadership and Diversity
Leaders today are faced not only with cultural diversity, but also generational diversity, which impacts both a leader's and a follower's views on culture, values, and ethics. Describe one generation found in modern organizations and identify the generation's unique characteristics. Evaluate the implications, including cultural diversity and communication, for a leader from the same generation and a leader from a different generation.
This activity will help you achieve the following learning components:
o Evaluate how leaders from different generations might view challenges and opportunities concerning diversity, communication, ethics, and other cultural values.
