Discuss your thoughts and observations of adolescent thinking and risk-taking behavior. Use the key terms from chapter. Describe examples of Piaget's stage of adolescence accomplishments by name (3 terms at least) and Elkind's explanation of adolescent egocentrism again by name (3 terms at least). Describe at least one example of cognition and adolescent egocentrism based on your own experience or observations. Discuss how these kinds of thinking contribute to both the awesome things teens do and some of the unfortunate things they do.
