a. Describe one challenge of Use-Case Modeling, the biggest challenge from reading in our books would be not knowing how the system using the modeling works.

This modeling tool describes step by step how a process goes from the start to the finish. The biggest problem would be not to consult with someone how knows the processes step by step. How to overcome that challenge, get to know the system inside and out before starting the project of using Use-Case Modeling.

b. With use-case modeling, you have those that understand the system requirements and those that know the legal contract side of the system. The biggest problems are time and knowing only what you know.

Time is needed to get a general understanding of the system life-cycle by all stakeholders and developers involved.

Knowing what you know is trusting that the foresight provided of possible problems and solutions can be confirmed or signed off by those that don't have subject matter knowledge.

Overcoming this can be done by producing a read-ahead detailing the project start to finish and issues pertaining. That should be followed up with a series of meetings, teleconferences, and team meetings before day one of the design meeting. That way ideas and understandings are at the forefront to tailor the design to a realistic schedule.

c. A use case requires knowing information about an object or process to have a successful outcome. If you do not how to boil an egg, you would need to ask questions to overcome the missing information .

From something as simple as the process of boiling an egg to the process of flying a plane, all information needs to be documented so you have something to use when planning the diagram.
