Describe - identity is something precious to us humans

Problem: Identity is something precious to us humans. It is how we define ourselves and whether that definition comes from race, religion, culture, values, or morals matters not. In this course I want you to connect the readings to identity of self and perceived identity of others. Consider these questions below for the writing assignment: Can you recall an instance when a piece of writing struck a chord with you? If you have related to a character, or an author, or the main idea of a piece of literature then please share if you're comfortable. Can you recall an instance where an author's identity showed in their writing? Give an example. It could be reflected in word usage, when it was originally written, or reflected in characters. For example, in F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway are supposed to be reflections of Fitzgerald's personality; two aspects at least. Another example is that the entirety of the Twilight saga is heavily influenced by Stephenie Meyer's Mormon beliefs. Much like others who take on qualities of characters from movies they've consumed, people can take of qualities or characteristics of characters from what they've read. Has either instance happened?
