Scenario I: You are in the babies' room. As you started your morning shift, you found a baby (1 year old) trying to open a box of small beads, which was left from early morning. By the time you reached out to the baby, the box was fully opened, and all beads were scattered on the floor.
Describe how you would respond to this situation and how you would manage to keep the babies safe:
Scenario II: You are in the toddler room. The classroom needs to be well set up, and the environment must always be safe. You and your colleague are planning a project for the room, to create the children's family trees. You want all the children to take part in this activity, but you have few toddlers with behavioural issues in this room. For the project, you have many pairs of scissors, containers of liquid glue, cellophane sheets and other materials. The group will need extra supervision for the activity.
Describe how you will plan for the activity. What are the safety measures that need to be taken prior to starting the project. What are the procedures that you need to follow to have all the children included in this activity.
