Flowers pollinated by bees and flowers pollinated by butterflies have very different physical characteristics, as we discussed in class. Bees and butterflies also have very different life cycles: bees become active in the spring, but many butterflies do not complete metamorphosis until midsummer. Interestingly, some flowers can be pollinated by either insect.
Describe how this flower population could give rise to two new species. Make sure to tell me what type of speciation this represents (specifically), and what changes you would expect to see in the resulting flower species.
