• Identify and describe health issues for vulnerable populations in the United States
• Identify and describe health policies, programs and/or interventions aimed at vulnerable populations in the United States
• Locate and use information from credible and reliable sources to inform yourself about public health and health policy issues
• Communicate public health information effectively in written form Activity and Topic
Working with your group members, research the impact that COVID-19 is having (or may have) on the vulnerable population or sub-population below that is listed for your group name. The group will research and summarize the unique ways that COVID-19 is impacting (or is likely to impact) the population. Then identify and discuss at least one example of public health policies, activities or interventions aimed at addressing those specific issues.
Note: For this assignment, you may rely heavily on news media and other similar sources of information since this is a current event. Just be sure to cite your sources appropriately.
