Note that this paper is to be on the social norms approach. There is one of your readings specifically focusing on this idea, at least. In order to do well, you must incorporate the idea regarding the social norms approach.
This paper is an exercise in critical thinking about prevention. Write 500 to 750 words reaction paper on the social norms approach to alcohol and other substance use prevention with adolescents.
In your paper, be sure to address the following:
1) Describe the effect of substance use in an adolescent's social norms.
2) What are the three specific paths for substance use prevention?
3) Describe prevention strategies for adolescent substance use.
4) All three points must be addressed.
Be sure to use at least two scholarly resources to support your reaction. You may use the assigned readings as resources for your paper or you may use other resources if you like.
