Dissociative Identity Disorder is a very different disorder to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), but some have suggested that the aetiology and treatment share similarities. Describe each of these conditions and then emphasize the similarities and differences in aetiology, diagnosis and treatment.
