Include dietary sources of energy, breakdown products, site of absorption, site of metabolism, carbohydrates (glycolysis/cellular respiration), lipid metabolism (lipolysis, beta-oxidation), protein metabolism (gluconeogenesis, Deamination), pyruvate conversion to acetyl-CoA or lactate, kreb’s/citric acid cycle, electron transport chain. Indicate which systems produce ATP. You will not be expected to name each intermediate produced.
