Problem:

Mrs Nguyen is an older woman from Vietnam who has just come to live in the care facility where you work. She shares a room with Mrs Papadopoulos, who has a lot of visitors every Sunday. Several of the visitors are children and it is very noisy when they are all there. Mrs Nguyen is a very quiet woman and becomes quite upset each Sunday when Mrs Papadopoulos's visitors arrive. You arrange a meeting with the two women. Mrs Nguyen explains that she is not used to a lot of noise and finds it distressing when the visitors arrive. Mrs Papadopoulos explains that she had the room to herself for several weeks before Mrs Nguyen arrived and that she is used to large, noisy family gatherings. You realise that these issues are clearly culturally based, and that you may need to involve others, such as cultural experts from the Greek and Vietnamese communities, or interpreters, to resolve this issue. Recommend a solution to resolve this issue.
