Respond to the following quote from the chapter to discuss the significance of cultural background:
"It is crucially important to be aware that students from diverse cultural backgrounds bring different ways of knowing, different styles of questioning, and different patterns of interaction to school." Describe classroom practices you can employ to assure culturally responsive instruction. Be sure to include personal experiences that you think would be helpful to others in this class.
