One of the many valuable planning and evaluating tools managerial accountants use for decision making is Cost-Volume-Profit Analysis. We are studying it in the text. Our lecture videos this week talk about C-V-P analysis and Break-even analysis which is part of it.
a) Describe C-V-P analysis and Break-even.
b) Find a professional business or accounting article or case study that describes how a real-world company used this analysis and how it affected their decision making. Make sure that you are not just reading a text or lecture notes explanation of C-V-P analysis, but an actual application of it.
c) Explain your reactions to the situation and these methods.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
