As nurses, we assume many leadership positions that we do not always recognize as being leadership positions. Evaluate your practice area and think about where you are a leader in both a formal leadership role and an informal leadership role.
Initial Post:
• Describe both your formal and informal leadership roles. How is it possible that not all managers are good leaders?
• How did you acquire your informal leadership role, and why do you think you hold this role?
• How do you see your leadership role changing based on the changes in the health care environment?
• Evaluate your leadership style and how you feel about being a leader?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
