Discussion Post: Self Image Perception Risky Behavior
Identify and describe at least 1 theory we are studying in this unit that impacts the concepts of self- image during adolescence. How does the theory help explain an adolescent's self-perception (e.g. center of attention) as well as contribute to potentially dangerous behaviors? (ie.. sexual behavior, smoking). Provide a recent news article to share with the class in regard to self-image, perception, or/and risky behavior and explain in detail how it demonstrates the concepts of the theory you selected. Be sure to use examples to support your ideas.
