I. What is the Strategy of Containment, and how has it helped define the Cold War from 1946-1992? Describe and evaluate the actions of the United States with regards to the Soviet Union, both domestically and in foreign policy. Include any documents, doctrines, events, laws, etc. you feel would better illustrate your ideas.
II. Is it accurate to describe the Second World War as two separate wars? Why or why not? What were the motivations of the aggressor countries? How is the defeat of Germany and Japan different from each other?
