3) There were several mass extinctions on Earth (at least 5 that we know of) during the last 500 million years of Earth's history. Compile a list of all five extinctions with the following information: a) time when they occurred, b) in what era/epoch; c) what were the conditions under which they occurred; and d) what species were formed or decimated;
4) Describe and draw the interior of the Earth (crust, mantle, core, etc), labelling them with their respective densities, temperatures, thicknesses, contents, distance from the surface, etc.

A) Describe the ‘Rock Cycle' on Earth, providing detailed description of the different types of rocks, their origins, composition, rock textures, with examples. Draw a diagram to depict it.
B) Sedimentary rocks are formed in shallow basins in the oceans and seas. Describe the different types of sedimentary rocks, their digenetic processes and the way they are formed. Provide examples of each of their types when describing them.
