Hedging is the act of buying and selling financial claims or using other financial tools to protect against the risk of fluctuations in market prices or interest rates. There have been many famous hedge funds that have resulted in the loss of huge amounts of consumer money. Please examine and discuss one of these cases and make recommendations as to how the individuals and organizations who participated in these funds could have minimized their risk.

1) Describe an overview of the case and the players involved.
2) Describe the amount of money lost and from what source of industry this loss occurred.
3) Include the length of time this fund was active in the market.
4) Describe the outcomes for the individuals who were involved in the fund (e.g., prison terms, payback orders).
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
