**I will post my peers response to the discussion as soon as someone posts. Please respond to my classmates post on a separate document.
Please be sure that your comments to peers are substantive. You should have a minimum of two postings for each thread and you will need to answer any questions I might ask you.
Make good use of the information in your textbook as well any resources you find online! Don't forget to correctly cite any source you use.

Cellular Respiration and Fermentation
You have learned this unit that cellular respiration can occur with (aerobic) or without (anaerobic) the presence of oxygen.
1. Briefly differentiate between the two processes, including the reactants and products of both and the relative energy yield.
2. Under what condition might our own cells use anaerobic respiration and why?
3. Describe an example where humans commercially utilize anaerobic respiration; be specific about the purpose, the organisms used and the products.
