Define and contrast the value consensus model and the conflict/critical model as they relate to the criminal law. What does each have to say about the origins and application of criminal law, and what are key criticisms of each perspective? Analyze and explain which you believe offers the most accurate and/or relevant model through which we can understand our criminal justice system.
