You have just discovered a new gene for which the function of its product is unclear. In order to understand more about its possible function, you aim to identify other proteins that it may interact with. Describe a series of experiments you would set up to try and capture and identify potential proteins that interact with the product of your new gene. Add the order in which you would do these experiments and any controls you may add to the experimental design.
