The third Presidential Debate is scheduled for Wednesday, 19 October, at 8:00 p.m. on numerous channels and media outlets. You, no doubt, will be watching or, if you have a schedule conflict, reading about and listening to reports about the event. For this assignment share your thoughts about the Debate. Consider the event from a sociological perspective. Did you witness social conflict? Did you witness symbolic interactionism? Did you witness structural functionalism? Describe a few of the rituals associated with the event. Your response must be complete and submitted by 11:59 p.m., on Sunday, 23 Oct.
If you have a schedule conflict you will want to consult media outlets following the event. It will be the topic of discussion in the hours following the event and all day on the 20th. Use caution as you select your media source (all are biased).
