Derivatives of Inverse Trig Functions : Now, we will look at the derivatives of the inverse trig functions. To derive the derivatives of inverse trig functions we'll required the formula from the last section associating the derivatives of inverse functions. If f(x) & g(x) are inverse functions then,
g′ ( x ) = 1/ f ′ ( g ( x ))
Recall again as well that two functions are inverses if f ( g ( x )) = x & g (f ( x )) = x .
