It has recently been suggested (e.g. Miller 2007) that virtuous behavior (generosity, kindness, compassion, etc) evolved as a costly signal of fitness in humans, and that both male and female humans select mates who display virtuous behavior. This suggestion implies that people are more sexually attracted to kind, well-behaved partners than to aggressive non-conformists. Indicate whether you agree or disagree with that suggestion and briefly explain why.

To a level I agree with Miller's statement. This is due to the fact that humans seek a companion that inhibits certain traits and characteristics that are within themselves. This is because they can see themselves being together longer than with somebody that is their complete opposite. While I personally follow this statement, many people choose to follow a different path; the phrase "opposites attract" comes into play here, as some believe that people with quite differing characteristics are best suited for each other because they will be somewhat more "interesting". Humans will tend to select a partner that is kind and loving to better themselves. To conclude, Miller's statement applies to almost everybody including myself as us humans usually interact with like-minded people and therefore avoid the others that they could not see themselves with.
