By being aware of these team processes, you can better manage the team's effectiveness. The goal of this exercise is to demonstrate your understanding of team taskwork processes by reading a case and answering questions. Read the case about the creative agency at Taco Bell and answer the questions that follow. Most people don't think of "creative teams" when they hear the name Taco Bell. But the Irvine, California, company has a culture that celebrates fun, innovation, and teamwork. With over 7,000 restaurants worldwide serving 2 billion customers a year, Taco Bell employs over 200,000 workers. Many organizations of this size would hire an external creative agency to handle branding, ads, packaging, and other advertising activities. Taco Bell has its own internal creative agency, though, headed by Executive Creative Director Chris Ayres. The in-house agency prides itself on its collaborative and fun culture where team members are encouraged to have fun. Team members interact with employees of all job types in their work, such as data scientists and media partners.
