Your city has a high rate of the problem. Your city's mayor has assigned you to a task force in charge of creating a health promotion plan to address that issue in your city. Familiarize yourself with the issue. Then, in your first post, tell us what city you chose and briefly discuss how the issue impacts your city. Next, in your first post, share your health promotion plan by identifying one action step at each level of the social-ecological model. Use what you've learned in your book and the lesson - this is not just anecdotal. Focus as much as you can on primary prevention and utilize a lifespan approach. Be as clear and concise as possible. I won't limit the word count, but keep in mind that your fellow students have to read through several posts. Give enough details to demonstrate understanding of the topic but don't go overboard. Present your action steps as a list, labeling which level of the SEM each step addresses.
