Now that you have studied the female and male anatomy, I'd like you to point out the similarities that you have noticed. Take some time to look at the following figures from the text, have them with you when you complete this quiz. Look at Figures 2.2, 2.4, and 2.7 for the females and Figures 3.1 and 3.4 for the Males. Be aware however, not all the common parts are listed on the figures, so be sure to understand the reading too. You will be asked to identify the common parts (parts that both males and females have) and then to summarize how an erection happens in males.
This will assess our third unit objective, "Demonstrate knowledge of the mechanisms of erection and ejaculation in males".
