As a business project management student, you lire expected to understand the project planning process, make decisions based on techniques and strategic tools and deploy the necessary techniques to achieve the over-all goal of the project. In view of this, you can take any construction based company in Oman and you should provide the details that show your knowledge, critical thinking, and application of theories and principles in practice. As such, you are required to answer the following questions:
1 . Give a reasonable introduction to your business plan considering the following points:
(i) Meaning of Project Management
(ii) Definition of Project
(iii) Explain project life cycle (4 D's).
(iv) Overview of your construction project.
2. Explain the time management plan and create a Gantt chart. Also prepare and explain a matrix chart showing the allocations of jobs to people.
What is cost management plan? Prepare a cost estimate plan and show the estimated profit.
4. What do you mean by WBS? Explain the various levels of work breakdown structure with a WBS Chart for your project.
5. What do you mean by change management plan and prepare a tabular plan showing the details of cost, time and quality constraints and what changes you want to implement in future?
6. Explain the concept of risk management. State the various types of risk you face and critically evaluate how to overcome the risk in your project.
