Problem:
The graphical representation I chose is unique in that it displays in several different formats through both a bubble and a scatter plot to demonstrate correlation through multiple factors such as population, GDP per capita, life expectancy, and the various countries listed. The reason why I chose this graphical representation of life expectancy is because recently there has been a decrease in several regions of the world in life expectancy and an increase with others, however, the general trend isn't always followed as economies the large amounts of wealth can be seen to be outpaced in life expectancy. This can be seen in the case of Costa Rica having an average life expectancy of 79 years of age, whereas the United States is hovering at slightly about 78 years of age. There is a general correlation to be followed between wealth or GDP per capita and life expectancy, but what is truly fascinating is that it does demonstrate outliers which signifies in my personal opinion that the lifestyle or diet is seen to have better health benefits than an indulgent lifestyle that is backed by a global economic powerhouse. Another point of interest is that from the data seen in the graph, for the most part larger populations have a lower life expectancy in comparison to countries that have a smaller population even in the case of countries with a lower GDP per capita.
