Demonstrate both utilitarian and individualism approaches

Discuss the below scenario:

The case of Kelvin and Antonio is a show case to demonstrate both utilitarian and individualism approaches, both of which are used in decision making. Kelvin is a new hire to the company and he shows integrity when delivering his services as a computer technician. He is not ready to get involved in fraud even though his supervisors and other top management are mounting pressure. Antonio is well informed of the past frauds that the management has involved. A utilitarian approach, which allows him to weigh the probable consequences, is a good deal. The computer system which requires to be upgraded is integral part of the company. Kelvin has taken his duty and gave a figure that would be sufficient for the upgrade. Digging up the entire wires is being opportunistic in the long run, just because the insurance company is there to pay. Things will be worse if the Antonio uses an individualism approach to support the fraud that is propagated by the management and this finally gets to the insurance company. The damages that Kelvin will have caused by digging up the wires of the system will not be compensated if the reality gets to the insurer. The damages of the fraud will raise the amount required for upgrade to about half a million dollars. The figure is too much that can prompt the insurance company to carry out private investigations to unearth the real cause of this. Things will be terrible when the reality is finally sought. To prevent all this, it is a good idea for Kelvin to approach the insurance with the exact figure need for the upgrade.

As Antonio, I would uphold my dignity by doing the right thing that is conventional with the values that are acceptable by everybody in the society. Having the right figure needed for the upgrade, I would team up with Kelvin to approach the insurance company for financing. I would ignore the pressure mounted by the management. Doing the right thing is morally correct and no risks are promising. The company can only respond by firing me and Kelvin. This a tough decision because they would fear that we would expose their fraud deeds to the insurance company and other stakeholders involved.

Even if it happens that either Kelvin or Antonio is fired, their employment details should not be removed from their resumes. When discussing it with subsequent employers, this will proof their integrity which will actually favor their employment opportunities. Any employer will be willing to recruit and work with an employee who is conscious about fraud and one who is opposed to it.
