1. We all have room for improvement in becoming more culturally aware and more accepting of diversity. We all have a potential for bias, whether it is for age, culture, race, religion, gender, etc. We also all stereotype to an extent. Discuss a stereotype that exists in the workplace that would be inappropriate to use, and discuss how this stereotype could have a negative effect on a supervisor, department, or organization.
2. Definition of diversity as the differences and similarities and related tensions and complexities that can exist among the elements of any mixture. Does this definition diminish the importance of demographic diversity in the workplace and all the efforts of people to achieve equality, or does it enhance the concept of diversity?
